Founded in Los Angeles in 2018, Thousand Oaks Furniture and Objects was born from a vision to unite Californian liveliness with the artistry of Thai craftsmanship. Conceived during the founder’s master’s studies in business, the brand reflects a dialogue between two homes, Los Angeles and Bangkok.
 

With a background in Decorative Arts, majoring in Product Design and over a decade of experience in the design industry, the founder brings together a deep understanding of form, material, and proportion. Sketching remains at the heart of the process, each idea inspired by everyday encounters and places traveled. Time in California instilled a love for relaxed sophistication, a spirit that continues to define the brand’s aesthetic.
 

Rooted in a passion for woodworking, Thousand Oaks began with hand-built prototypes crafted in a small LA garage, pieces that reflect an appreciation for the tactile and the timeless. The brand’s design language celebrates material harmony, combining wood, metal, leather, stone, and fabric in refined balance.
