Welcome to Thousand Oaks Furniture and Objects. We value thoughtful design, careful craftsmanship, and clear communication. These Terms & Conditions are here to outline how we work together, ensuring transparency and mutual understanding.
By placing an order or using our services, you agree to the terms below.
1. Products & Craftsmanship
All pieces by Thousand Oaks Furniture and Objects are handcrafted. Natural variations in wood grain, stone texture, color tone, and metal finish are part of the character of each piece and should be expected.
Slight differences from samples, images, or drawings may occur and are considered part of the handmade process, not defects.
2. Custom & Made-to-Order Items
Most of our products are made to order and may be customized in size, material, finish, or detail.
Once a custom order is confirmed, production begins and changes may no longer be possible. Custom and made-to-order items are not eligible for cancellation, return, or refund.
3. Pricing & Payment
Prices are confirmed at the time of order. A deposit or full payment may be required before production begins, depending on the scope of work.
All payments are non-refundable once production has started.
4. Production Timeline
Production timelines are provided as estimates and may vary depending on material availability, customization level, and production schedule.
While we do our best to meet agreed timelines, delays due to circumstances beyond our control may occur. We will always communicate updates clearly.
5. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping arrangements, costs, and responsibilities will be confirmed before delivery.
Once items leave our workshop, responsibility transfers to the shipping provider. Thousand Oaks Furniture and Objects is not responsible for delays or damage caused during transit, though we are happy to assist with coordination and documentation where possible.
6. Installation & Use
Proper installation and use are the responsibility of the client or appointed installer.
We are not liable for damage resulting from improper handling, installation, misuse, or environmental conditions such as humidity, sunlight, or temperature changes.
7. Care & Maintenance
Clients are responsible for following recommended care guidelines to maintain the quality and longevity of their pieces.
Normal wear over time is expected and reflects the life of a well-used object.
8. Intellectual Property
All designs, drawings, images, and content remain the intellectual property of Thousand Oaks Furniture and Objects.
Reproduction or use without written permission is not permitted.
9. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.
